Underground Cables is a perfect example of a marketing image that screams out the need to use CGI. To composite two photographs of the London Underground and the relevant cables would be two entirely separate photo shoots – one studio-based, one on location.
Therefore, using CGI, both elements are built inside the computer and potential problem issues such as camera angles and perspective matching are done away with. Additionally, the possibility of swapping out cable types and colour alterations are also possible right up to that important deadline.
