We love this kind of project – adding CGI elements to photography.

Our client supplied us with the scamp and photograph to work with. Our job was to create the 3D battery pack element and make sure it looked as though the chap was powered by battery.

We also had to incorporate the TTS logo on to the back of his overalls.

Key to the project was matching the very distinctive lighting, and ensuring material issues such as refraction and reflection looked as though they’d been shot at the actual time, rather than faked in a computer. Note the subtle bleed of magenta light on to the top portion of the battery compartment, casting shadow on to the overall.
