You asked for this, remember that…
“igil” is actually Anglo-Saxon for ”hedgehog” (it’s also a traditional Tuvan instrument dating back around 1,000 years, but not in this case). You can still see other countries in Northern Europe using a similar name, in Dutch it’s actually ‘egel’ (pronounced eh-hel), or ‘egeltje’, meaning ‘little hedgehog’.
